I am so glad to be teaching here at Oakdale! This is my sixth year teaching overall, and my 5th year here. I teach K-4 General Music, 5-8 Choir, 5th Grade Beginning Band, 6-8 Band, and K-8 Computers.
I grew up in a small town an hour south of Chicago, named Manteno. I loved music all through school, and was a member of band, choir, orchestra, and show choir at various times throughout middle and high school. I graduated Manteno High School in 2008, and from there decided to pursue a career in the field I loved most: music education.
I went to Millikin University, and was a member of both bands there as well as the orchestra. I graduated Cum Laude in 2012 from Millikin.
I currently perform as a member of the Venedy Band. We perform at local picnics and festivals, so come check us out.
